More details regarding Drew McIntyre re-signing with WWE have been revealed.

In yesterday's Daily Update, our own Dave Meltzer wrote that McIntyre has signed a three-year deal with the company.

"The new deal was confirmed to us as three years. McIntyre will be off the house shows for now due to his hyperextended elbow but will be making TVs," Meltzer wrote.

Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez also discussed McIntyre's deal on the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio

"I viewed three years as very smart on his part," Meltzer said after Alvarez noted WWE has been trying to sign talent to five-year contracts.

Financial details regarding the contract have not been disclosed. However, Meltzer continued to say that McIntyre likely should be one of the top-paid wrestlers in the company.

"Drew you could argue would be (number) three or four (in terms of being the top guy in the company). And three or four right now, you're talking four million dollars a year. I don't know that he's getting it, I don't know the number but right now, that's the level he should be at."
