The Braves announced Thursday morning that they’ve placed left-hander A.J. Minter on the 15-day injured list due to inflammation in his left hip. Right-hander Jimmy Herget has been recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to take Minter’s spot on the roster.
He was just signed three days ago to serve as a depth infielder for the club.
